Internal Audit Manager
Job responsibilities:
* Mainly responsible for developing annual and quarterly risk-based audit plan for GI / Life business
* Manage audit scope and progress and ensure all audit processes are adherence to Global Audit Standards and local operating procedures manual
* Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in GI, Life business and other corporate functions to understand the key factors and risks impacting the business
* Act as a audit specialist and risk manager in major business change projects
* Assist in the on-going development of audit function including building up centers of expertise and providing coaching to teammates
Job requirements:
* Degree holder with 10 years’ General and/or Life industry experience; or a qualified accountant/ auditor with at least 6 years’ post qualification experience, preferably from Big 4 with insurance clients
* Internal audit experience in an insurance company would be an asset
* Detailed knowledge of audit standards/ practices, principles of internal controls, processes, assessment and design of compliance testing
* Good understanding of GI and/ or Life Industry, key markets, participants, innovation drivers, business issues, standards and guidelines, regulatory environment and developments
* Capable of developing and maintaining influential relationships with senior management
* Capable to lead audit assignments and undertake complex work directly, specifically to review and appraise the soundness of risk management and internal controls
* Sound business judgment in assessing significance of issues and developing value added recommendations
* Good analytical skill, proven presentation and communication skills
* Good command of both oral and written English, with the ability to speak and write a second Asian language strongly desirable
* Travel within Asia Pacific region is required

Responsibilities
Responsible for developing in house equipment for subsea applications
Responsible for concept design and detail engineering to meet functional requirements, customer specifications and industry standards
Responsible for leading design team, conducting design reviews, writing test & operational procedures, leading in-plant and Site Integration Testing and interfacing with customer and third party suppliers
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
Min 3 years subsea experience, leading at least 1 project as Primary Subsea Engineer
Strong technical design experience with a good understanding of interfaces with vessels, wellheads, controls, umbilicals, ROV’s and similar equipment is required
Strong technical experience in mechanical engineering and good understanding of subsea operations
Must be able to work and lead design team from different cultural backgrounds
Must be able to travel internationally and work onboard rigs.
Logical and strong analytical thinking skills
Good spoken and writing skills
Knowledge and proficiency in CAD and Analysis software preferred
Project management experience preferred
